Essential Job Functions
  • Sets up, maintains and operations the bar
  • Takes drink orders from patrons or wait staff and prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes
  • Verifies legal age of patrons
  • Mixes ingredients for cocktails and serves wine and bottled or draught beer 
  • Rings drink orders into register, collect payment and makes change
  • Practices safe serving techniques and informs manager on duty of any action that is necessary
  • Orders requisition liquors, other beverages and supplies
  • Arranges bottles and glasses to make an attractive display and merchandise drinks
  • Maintains storage room of supplies in an orderly fashion
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications
Reports to the Banquet manager/assistant banquet manager.  Requires good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment and interact with customers.  Additional qualifications include:
  • Minimum 3 years experience of banquet bartending experience.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have basic knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits and be familiar with standard drink recipes
  • Must possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Ability to understand and follow directions from the Manager
